Vet Student Bootcamp
Summer Internship

Learning veterinary medicine through education, experience, and action within our network of privately owned hospitals. 

Housing is available on a first-come first-served basis.

Rent is $175/week and a $200.00 reservation deposit is required. 

About the Program

  • 10 week paid program

  • Case rounds 

  • Wet labs

  • RECOVER certification

  • Clinical hands-on experience

    • Primary care​

    • Urgent care

    • Surgery

  • Journal club​

  • TNR (where you'll be the primary surgeon with a mentor)

Requirements

  • 10 week commitment

  • Orientation week attendance is mandatory

  • Max 40 hours/week scheduled in hospital

    • Additional hours for labs, lectures & TNR

    • One week paid time off

    • Occasional evening and weekend shifts

      • For those seeking ECC experience, overnight shifts are part of that rotation​

  • Active participation in all out-of-hospital sessions is required

  • Active participation in all in-hospital learning and patient care is required
