RECOVER CPR Certification

Friday, March 1st from 8am to 4pm at Mount Laurel Animal Hospital in the Auditorium.  Please read all information below before reserving your slot.

Mount Laurel Animal Hospital is offering the opportunity to become RECOVER CPR certified.  What is that you ask?  It is an in-depth training to become certified in basic life support and advanced life support CPR for dogs and cats.  The process includes completing the online CE (8.5 hours) and then enrolling in an in-person full day course to obtain your certification.  This is good for 2 years, and then can be renewed online.

Who can get this certification and who should become certified? Doctors, technicians, assistants, and students can all enroll.  Anyone who has the potential to participate in CPR in the clinic.

You can learn more about the process and training at recoverinitiative.org.

The fee for the online course is $75 for techs, assistants, and students (and with coupon code RECOVERCPR30 is $52.50).

For veterinarians it is $150 ($105 with above coupon code).

Talk to your hospital administration to see if you're eligible to get reimbursement from your CE allowance for this course!

The next in- person session will be Friday, March 1st from 8am to 4pm at Mount Laurel Animal Hospital in the Auditorium. A total of 16 slots are available - a waitlist is available for those who are interested in the date but do not reserve the first 16 slots.

Receipt of BLS + ALS certificates for the online portion is required for those who have reserved the 16 slots no later than February 16, 2024 for this session. Please provide your information and upload your completed certificates via the Google Form here. Receipt of your certificates is confirmation of your slot; if your certificates are not received by this date, your will be contacted and advised that your slot has been forfeited to the first person on the waitlist, and you will be given the option to attend the next RECOVER date.

Just as an FYI, the cost to do the in-person session for these courses at IVECCS this year is $325 per person (+ the cost of the online courses so about $400 per person).  So grab a seat while they are hot!
