This month, we will discuss heat-related injury and heat stroke. We will cover topics such as breed predilection, diagnosis of heat injury and/or heat stroke, treatment and prognosis. Focus will be on what to do (and what NOT to do!) when these cases come in through urgent care or emergency service.

As the weather begins to change and the warmer months are almost upon us, there are certain types of cases that we will start to see more of at our hospitals.
This month, we will discuss heat-related injury and heat stroke. We will cover topics such as breed predilection, diagnosis of heat injury and/or heat stroke, treatment, and prognosis.
